Jim Beyer is a US Healthcare executive having the unique distinction of experience with both the supplier and provider side of the US Healthcare supply chain. He began his career serving as a Navy Corpsman in the US Navy stationed overseas. Upon honorable discharge from service, he began his corporate career with HCA in supply chain during a time of rapid transition to the centralized distribution models currently in use with large Health Systems today.

He eventually joined an alliance of two large hospital alliances, UHC and VHA to form Novation (Vizient), in which he managed the Anesthesia and Respiratory business for many years. As a developed interest and passion for innovative technology, Mr. Beyer migrated to the supplier side joining Westmed (SunMed) as VP of Sales and Marketing, manufacturing innovative Anesthesia products. Shortly after Mr. Beyer was recruited by a small technology company, Masimo to head their Corporate Sales and business development. Mr Beyer spent 13 years building teams taking their core products lines to new sites and applications in multiple revenue generating sales channels.

In addition to a successful IPO, Masimo grew during that period from $25mm to over $800mm in organic growth eventually becoming a global leader in noninvasive patient monitoring. Mr. Beyer eventually left to pursue his interest in working with unique technologies that proved clinical and financial value to the Healthcare Supply Chain, eventually being recruited by the Board of Directors to become CEO of an underperforming medical device company in Nashville, TN. Under Mr. Beyers leadership the company experienced unprecedented growth in sales with their first ever successful EBITDA eventually leading to an exit. Again, Mr. Beyer pursued his original passion to work globally to find unique and differentiated technologies to bring to his vast network of Health Systems and GPO customers as a business development conduit for innovative technologies.
