The team will be showcasing the revolutionary regional anaesthesia technology – SAFIRA®: SAFer Injection for Regional Anaesthesia, which was recently awarded the accolade of HSJ Patient Safety Innovation of the Year 2021.
Attendees will be able to see SAFIRA® demonstrated live in the ‘Surgical Simulation Theatre’ at 11:30-12:30 on Tuesday 25th January. Dr Emad Fawzy, Consultant Anesthesiologist and co-inventor of SAFIRA®, will demonstrate the device and share his experiences of introducing the new technology into clinical practice.
Members of the Medovate team will be on hand in the ABHI UK Pavilion to meet delegates and explain more about SAFIRA® and the other exciting technologies which Medovate are developing, working closely with leading clinicians from the UK National Health Service (NHS).
