Medovate supports speaker programme at leading Med-Tech Innovation Conference

Medovate are delighted to once again be asked to support the speaker programme at the prestigious Med-Tech Innovation Expo, the UK and Ireland’s leading event for medical device manufacturing, taking place in Hall 2 at The NEC in Birmingham on 7^th – 8^th June 2023.

Our Technology Director, Alan Finnerty, will be presenting as part of the event centrepiece, the Med-Tech Innovation Conference Track at 2.00pm on Day 2, Thursday 8th June.

Alan’s talk, “It Takes a Village to Raise a Child, and Medical Devices! – Key Considerations for Outsourcing”, will identify common challenges faced when outsourcing activities in the Medical Device industry, from the earliest stage of the product development process through to contract manufacturing.

This session will include a number of recommendations on how to identify potential partners and points to consider for their evaluation and selection.

Alan is Technology Director at Medovate, a medical device manufacturer dedicated to developing and commercialising NHS medical device innovations. He has over 20 years’ experience in the MedTech industry and is a member of both the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub.
