Recently held at the Wellcome Trust, Genome Campus, Hinxton Hall, Cambridge, Medovate were pleased to support the Medtech Futures conference hosted by Health Enterprise East, (HEE). Over 120 participants delegates had a chance to chat to the Medovate team, and enjoy an exclusive first look at some of the innovations currently in development.
Sponsored by Medovate, the day culminated with an innovation voucher competition, where five shortlisted inventors from HEE’s NHS member Trusts pitched their ideas live on stage to the audience and a panel of judges in a bid to win a £5,000 innovation voucher.
Congratulations go to Dr. Aslam Shiraz, from Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust winner of the Innovation voucher. His winning innovation was a novel cervical screening patch that focuses on the detection of disease rather than the detection of HPV DNA.
